Everybody says the machine was \u201cwell maintained.\u201d Sellers say that about excavators with dry-rotted hoses, cooked coolant, dead monitors, and enough blow-by to fog a mirror.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Show me the records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Caterpillar\u2019s own planned maintenance setup is built around service-hour intervals: PM1 at 250 hours, PM2 at 500 hours, PM3 at 1,000 hours, and PM4 at 2,000 hours, according to Cat\u2019s official&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cat.com\/en_US\/support\/maintenance\/self-service-options\/planned-maintenance.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Planned Maintenance Self-Service Option<\/a>.
